I know I make a lot of jokes about Saved by the Bell, but now it is time for some real talk you guys…
In 1989, gay marriage was still considered taboo, especially for Saturday morning television.  Strident supporters of the LGBT community, Slater and Zack took a stand as the first husband and husband couple on television.  That took a lot of guts.
Or maybe I just took a screencap and presented it out of context.  Whatevz.

And to think that Mother Gussie never watched this show with us!
